GEOLOGY IN MOTION

We are a dedicated community of geologists based at Capital City Public Charter School in Washington DC. During fall 2016, we conducted work to learn about general geological processes along the Fall Line of the DC area, including Rock Creek Park.

To kick off our exploration of the geological features of this region, we went rock climbing on the sheer cliffs of Carderock, MD on the Potomac River.
